I am a married mother of three children, ages 9, 6, and 18 months. All three were very different labors, and each one a very special event.
I am currently on my path to becoming a midwife, but along this path I have been amazed to learn about the impact of a good support system around the laboring mother, and how much more positive her birth experience can be from the support she receives. Because of this discovery, it has inspired me to work as a doula while working towards my goal of becoming a midwife, so I can help provide women with a beautiful, memorable experience as they make their journey into motherhood.
